I SUGGEST READING IT FIRST BEFORE READING THIS. This book was one of my favorite "must reads" so far. This book is set apart from other books because the non-glamorization portrayal of the unlikeable heroines. There is backstabbing, savagery, and lots of tears. This book allows you to see this and see them make the decisions they make, and how messy they get. This book is full of rawness. The character development of this book is spot on and the book itself does a excellent job of making you feel like you are in NYC and dancing with others.  I enjoyed the character switches in this book, making you feel different things and different feelings/emotions for the character you first hated in the book. TITLE: PROPHETS PREY AUTHOR: SAM BROWER PUBLICATION: 2011 PAGES: 336 MY RATING: 9  I must start by saying this book is a definite page turner. I was impressed by the structure and knowledge of the FLDS and Warren Jeffs that was shown by Sam Brower, this book is eye opening and definitely gives a better insight on the FLDS community. This is an intriguing story about the power of control. The subject matter of this book is very disturbing, the author gives us a good look inside of a well organized cult, ran by a "madman", the very same man who believe that he was "Gods mouthpiece".  I enjoyed this book, and it ends without a completely satisfying result. The cold hard sad truth is that there at still many offenders out there, and this stuff continues to go on even with the prophet Warren Jeffs is now behind bars.
