BOOK NUMBER TWO OF THE VAMPIRE ACADEMY,..

SYNOPSIS:
The threat of the Strigoi increases, and forces the Moroi and dhampirs to begin to think outside the box about how to protect everyone. Tense of course rises as always between Rose and Dimitri when Dimitri's friend and royal Moroi, Tasha, suddenly returns to the academy, leaving Rose of course with a broken heart. Of course Rose being the slut she is (love her character though) moves on or tries to move on with someone else, but her heart still aches. In this book we meet a new character - Adrian Ivashkov- a character who could easily be everyone's favorites.

REVIEW:

I kind of felt this book was a little slow, slower than the first one, and kind of dragged on, took awhile to get into it. I liked it and I eventually got into it by the end of it but I wasn't wanting to rush out and purchase the third book like I would have usually done right away.
I will say this though, I haven't given up on this series yet, and it does have potential.. All I can and will say is I am hoping the second book gets me hooked like it has done with so many others.

Now, Richelle Mead does ramp up the action, angst, and intense emotions in book two. There were some spots where I was just like WTF seriously just happened?! And are you kidding me Mason? Why Mason Why? Richelle is a master at making you fall in love with her characters. I care so deeply for Rose in this one, even though she's snarky, a little bit reckless at times and more than a little impulsive. Underneath her hard exterior, she's very vulnerable. Rose does go through a lot with her mother, friends, and the desires of her heart that I couldn't help but feel for her.  My heart was pounding out of my chest the last 25% of the book probably. The rest was kind of slow/dull.

GLAMITURE #4 - See What I Have Done

TITLE:   See What I Have Done AUTHOR: Sarah Schmidt PUBLICATION: 2017 PAGES: 328 This book is a MUST read.. I read this book in literally 2 days! I hardly wanted to put it down. I have been intrigued with Lizzie Borden and couldn't wait to read a fictionalized story about her, this authors take is beautiful. The book started out slow as it just jumped right into Lizzie finding her father dead. It gave no insight or history on Lizzie Borden. I didn't know if I was going to be able to deal with the events leading up to the murders, this book really didn't cover that but only covered the days leading up to and after the murders. This story is told from 4 different view points; Emma (Lizzie's oldest sister), Bridget (The Irish maid, Benjamin (A total stranger hired by the Borden girls uncle with nefarious intentions), and Miss Lizzie Borden.  The writing on this evocative, even for having "realized" spelled wrong. There's a lot of imagery (

GLAMITURE #10 - SHADOW KISS (VAMPIRE ACADEMY #3)

TITLE: Shadow Kiss AUTHOR: Richelle Mead  PUBLICATION DATE:   2008 PAGES: 446 START DATE:   02-18-18 END DATE:   03-09-18 RATING: 4 The ending of this book kind of upset but it was an amazing book, this book is the one that go me  hooked on the series. There is so much going on in this book, I don't even know where to begin. I was captivated by this book, I really love Dimitri and Rose together... Rose is a character whom had to grow on me, for sure, she kind of got on my nerves in the beginning two books because of how pessimistic she was, every single thing made her mad, and she had a temper and I understand with the whole thing going on with her soaking up the "darkness" from Lissa but I sometimes felt like shaking her and telling her "life isn't that damn bad, you have a really hoot guy, just get the heck over it" but she kind of really grew on me in this book. I started seeing her as more of an enduring cha
